About Not from Babylon unfortunately, but from Leeds - Temple Newsham house this morning.

To the rear of the house they have some lovely gardens and these dangly yellow flowers looked amazing against the deep blue sky.

Really nice colors. I like the low perspective, I think it works very well. Well done.

Here's a photo of the front of the house - taken as close as I could get with an 18mm lens so you get a semi-fish-eye effect with the 2 wings.

Just cropped in PS, set the middle of the 2 wings to be horizontal but it's made the grass at the front look sloped - maybe it is?

Yes Roundhay was good, uploaded one today which I was very pleased with. Also got a few meercats with good expressions. I'm off until Saturday then I'm off on Hols with the family. If you intend going to Roundhay during the week drop me an email it may just be the excuse I need to get out again ;-) steve@stevebb.com

Really, I had the day off work and was actually in Harehills deciding whether to do Roundhay or Temple Newsham! Had several outings to Roundhay so Newsham won.

Was a stunning day, though probably a bit bright for any landscapes - they're all washed out unfortunately.

Anything exciting at Tropical World?
