This is beautiful, the slight touch of pastel blue in the cowboy hat and barely there pink of the lace dress, well it is just lovely. I love the contrast with the canvas background, the soft muted quality and the boot tones matching her hair. Everything is drawn together and the pose, the expression, it is just so little girl pouty and perfect. This being an example of your work on children's portraits you can definitely go 'pro'. Wonderful work!

Very nice, jut a little too soft for my liking. The slight shadow and the pink hue cast on the backdrop do detract from the image. (A very soft 5/7)

Just my subjedtive view Dale. I reminded me of a number of posters which were around in the early eighties. Light and composition very good. The world is bonbarded by american 'cowboy' culture so this tends to have a different meaning to foreigners like me. The only important thing is that you like - and good on you for doing so! PS. Very much a amateur myself.

I personally do not agree with james lee. but oh well, we all see art differently. I personally am in love with this. love the dress she's wearing (is it a slip she's wearing?) very adorable. and the cowboy hat and boots totally make this shot so precious with your little one. I love the sotftness you've added to it. so soft and beautiful. your really good at adding the softness to your shots. this will look beautiful on your walls. keep them coming. I love your work.
