:) well amna this is the secret behind my latest floral shots and the lighting.. if you noticed in the pic there is little yellow bulb attached to a cord and straight to the electrical source.. no lamp.. this was part of a lamp i had and it simply slipped out of it!! so i place it behind the flowers while taking a picture.. provides amazing lighting.. that's the source of the "glow" ;-)

The first thing I notice about a photo is the mood, the feeling of it. And I've never really liked photos of flowers. But this image is an exception, because it is simply inspiring. Lovely.

lol.. amna it's almost impossible to shoot pix in the garden now.. it's TOO HOT!!! when i try i return all sweaty and with a HUGE headache..!
take my advice.. there's this sweet 10 dhs table lamp in carfour that can handle 60W, then buy different bulbs with different colors and try.. it allowed me to use shutter speed 1/60 (minimum) instead of slow, grainy 1/10!! :-D
check out my mini studio..

Outstanding Rawabi, the lighting and the colors are really great, the flower seems to be resting in peace ;-)
Thanks for the tip Rawabi I will try it, I normally shot in natural light in our garden but these days my parents hate my camera lol so I prefer to do it in my room where I can concentrate. The close-up filter is good, it saved my youth in the drop photo lol
