Hello Christine! Sorry it's almost a month since I've responded or looked at the recent work of my friends. This door is a fake. Well, the door is real, but the stone is man made synthetic material of some kind. It is in a beautiful, large cemetery a block from my office. I just tried to catch it at the right angle. The sky is completely photoshop as it was a gloomy gray day. I can't wait to see what you've been up to. Regards, George

I like this photo. A very mysterious door. (But perhaps reality is less romantic than this picture).

P.S. Thanks for your comment.

George,
What an unusual structure! This is a great shot. I love the variety of colors in the stones (are they stones?) and the brilliant blue sky is a good contrast for the building. I'm also wondering what the building is, where the door leads. Very nice image.
Regards, Anne

This has got to be the most interesting door I have ever seen George. What does it lead to, where is it, how do you get to it??? Fantastic detail of the distressed wood door, texture of the granite and the colours in the rocks. Very original and a great thought provoking image ...Christine
