Lissa, all of your work is rich in color, texture, and drama. This is no exception. I love the nostalgic quality to this lovely lady.

Dearest Pat...ok so here we go ...I turned the orginal Sepia ,colored it ...then did an overlay using an image I took In Washington DC of a monument to War :) Then another over lay with some handwriting samples ,then some color adjustments using levels and then some vertical grain scanned in from scratch paper....Does that help ?

yes I like it; just some too recent mood still remain on the face of the woman; that should be "ruined" the same way as other zone; as presented it results in artificial feel due to the "new" effect for the face
