About For the busker who played and and in his own unique scale sang here at the octagon in Dunedins heart and for whom, like the statue we couldn't help.
He'd want something more cheerful. I'll work on it.
As a composition is this a bit too mixed media?

Hi Ian, In short "No" this is not too much mixed media. There is a lot to examine in this work as each corner is a work of art in it's own right. I wanted to quote some Burns to you but i only know...wee cowrin timrous beastie ( and i'm not sure if i've spellt that correctly :))
So anyway... Cheers Neil

Very good Ian. Great work in the memory of those who live singing and spreading joy.
Best regards.

Ian, I caught that comment on the Bastard cemetery shot. I did not read any recent email bfrom you. Might want to resend. I never had Scot food...but it took 2 Director's Bitters to wash down a puddle of steak and kidney urine smelling pie in London....(That's where the email name came from, by the way)

Aye. Once a year somebody sticks it in a canon and blows it over the public in our town square, The Octagon. I don't know how they get away with it. Every year the same thing. The police just stand and watch, they're no help.
Had it on a stick in Scotland. Speaking of scottish food. I bought a pie and was just totally gobsmacked when the girl asked if I wanted it boiled in fat first. I thought... "Thats legal in this country?"

Nods a few times, purses lips and lets out a thoughtful mmmmm. Angles his head and said "well that?s probably about right, there are many themes and people will take there own interpretation"
