Cool closeup! Very abstract, but interesting! And details are so sharp! Also the composition is super!

Hi, Uwe..as this image scrolled down from the top i was becoming more and more enamored..what crispness, what texture, what tones, what color, what lines, what curves, what everything, ohmigod, this is perfection!!!!..then suddenly the foreground appeared and i thought, what happened? Why is this so soft? so indistinct? so lacking in everything the rest of the image posesses? Even the shape of this part doesn't belong with the rest. i don't understand this part of the image, Uwe..i want to but i don't. i find myself wanting to crop right along that horizontal band of metal directly above it. That's where the image logically ends for me. kat~

I love everything about this photograph, from the off-centre composition to the line that disappears out of the frame. From the deep black to almost white, the tonal range is stunning. An almost the perfect photograph combining pure form with this awesome exploration of light and shadow. A fine piece of work. Bravo.
