bela composição, o enquadramento horizontal deu um direcionamento para a direita que ficou muito legal. O colorido está na medida certa!

Very awesome picture. I like the set up on the picture. The green at the bottom faiding to white at the top is very nice. The focus seems a bit off. but that might have been what you were going for. But overall its a very nice picture. It seems like something that would be on a postcard. :-)

I've always really liked very sharp, well-focussed shots, so I didn't care for the soft focus on this--it gave me the impression that the picture was technically not well done rather than something intentional. Were you aiming for such a soft image? Impressionistic, maybe?

I like your Red just as you "wrote" it -- the tulip flower leans into my day -- the green blur of the backgroud perfectly compliments the soft natural red as does the hint you give us of its sweet green stem -- if you had made it a tight vertical it would have become but a red blob -- I praise you for keeping it the flower it is --presenting us the most natural of reds-- your photograph is an existential embracing of something exquisitely beautiful in our real world of today. Brava, Amanda!

Amanda,
I think this is one of your best photos here!
This is so well done... the proportions, the angle, the softness, the red and it's shadows... There is one thing though that bothers me, the framing. Horizontally I think is quite good that those shadows were left out of it. They would unbalance the composition. You could howhever changed the angle a bit? I think I would like a litle more spacce there. But vertically I think you should have left more space above rather then bellow the flower. If you think in terms of colours, and thats what your photo is about, the stem doesn't have a relevant part in there. Your composition includes it as relevant for it. I just think you should have given it a lesser role in it. :)
But that is just a detail Amanda, I really like this photo. I'm sure you have more of those, just upload them! :)
Rated it 6 for:
originality (as always) great eye composition colour
I didn't rate it 7 (EC like quality) for:
framing
:)
Best regards, Sérgio
