About Another senior image. Don't ask me why I want to shoot these types of shots [vail], but some faces seem to fit a shot like this. I think hers is a fit. Main light - Medium SB with louvers camera left, about level with her head. Fill - Gold Reflector camera right just out of frame. Head/shoulders - Stripdome -2 stops

Phillip, I remember your first uploads on Usefilm, and even though I haven't been commenting on your photos as much as I want to, I've seen you grow as a photographer at a very rapid rate. This photo is stunning. The crop on the sides is a tad to tight for me, but that's not enough to detract from the overall image quality. There are a lot of these types of photos (vail) going around... Most don't seem to work. I agree with you though. Her face "fits" with a shot like this. Once more, excellent work Phillip :-)

A VERY beautiful shot. I cannot think of a thing I would do to enhance it. By the, a HUGE THANK YOU, to you for posting lighting information. I am trying to get used to monolights and information like yours in priceless in understanding how to get good even lighting for different moods, etc.
