About
This also comes from Showa Park, named after the Emperor who gave his name to the Japanese era that ended 15 years ago with his death. I think there's a rather strange, mysterious atmosphere to this one...
Perhaps I should explain, Surya, that I almost never "crop" to get the panorama format. I use special panorama cameras, either the Fuji TX-1, the Widelux, or my latest, the 120-film Voyageur. These all produce very wide images, typically 2.5 to 3.0 times as wide as they are high.
Wonderful Panormic shot. You always focused on the main subject, I guess it is why it resulted in in cropping. Your whole cropped images are wonderful.
Thanks for comments on my image 'Life Style'. With regars, 'Surya' from India
Sorry Roger I don't detect the 'atmosphere' you speak about. I don't find this one as pleasing as the more open winter shot, maybe thats because the trees here tend to hold the image in at the edges.
