No bother at all...we are here to learn from and share with each other.

~Pull up your photo in PS and go to Filter/render/lighting effects.
~You then can play with the circle over your photo by pulling out the sides and top notches to choose the area you want lighted.
~Then work with the intensity and property levels to achieve the results you like.
(In the copy I have left here I actually left a bit of gray in the upper corners which I don't really like but that can be taken away by pulling the lighting circle out more.)
~After I finished using the spot lighting I then just touched it up a bit with brightness/contrast and whala....your photo =)

Sounds like a lot but once you get used to it these steps become very easy....play with the filters....they are so much fun! Good luck and have a good time! =)

Janine, sorry to bother you, but how did you fix the lighting of the Zebras on the underside? I tried using contrast and brightness in PS, but I can't get the same results as you.

Thanks

Thanks for your comment. I agree, the Zebras do look better with the "reflector" on them. It definitely improves the shot.

This is such a cute shotI It does look like they are ready to break into song! LOL

It's too bad that we are slaves to the weather when we shoot...the grayness of the day has made this shot a bit lackluster and we both know that a reflector would have bounced the light back to light them up but I am sure they would have not been in the mood to sing for you anymore...LOL (and who carries a reflector with them to the zoo anyway?) LOL
I sent this through Photoshop and touched it up a bit with the lighting effects....what do you think?
