Thank you for your remarks. In this scene I would have liked to have had the opportunity to have had more time to compose and work the three objects so that they could have more synergy. But, I had to go on a ledge with a steep drop all around and I made haste in order that this photo not become my last :-)

Good shot, and a very creative use of contrasting colours. Apart from that anecdote, I don't think the camels are the real issue here (however, it is a nice touch!)

IMHO, the colours need a tad more saturation, (they seem a bit bleak as is, but that might be my monitor too) and I think the tension in the photo could have been a bit stronger if the foliage "crossed" the line between the red rocks and the sky. It would've broken up the strict division into four colour segments.

The lighting as well as the DOF are excellent.

I took a peek in your portfolio, very impressive work. Your landscapes are truely amaising. Compared to some of the others. I'll definately take another look soon... To be honest, I find this one less appealing compared to a large part of your other landscapes. Lucky for me, it did attract my attention, though....;o)

Cheers,

Hugo

Camels or not I like the shot because of three distinct colors namely light brown, green and chalky.
Cheers!
