Thanks! I bought a telephoto zoom lens with a max aperture of 4.0 and I just wanted to make sure I could replicate the DOF you've used here. Very nice..:)

I really don't know, but I'd guess f5.6. Seems to be what I always use in the window.

What a precious photo! The focus on her face is sharp, yet the overall image is soft. The lighting is perfect and the facial expression just grabs you. This is one of those shots you see where you say to yourself, "Gee, I wish I had taken that photo." Excellent!

She seems so sad, as if she is wishing it would stop raining so she can go out to play. Great use of natural light, and she is such a cutie.

Window portraits are great. Portraits of cute little kids are great. Put them together and they are, well . . . great! The tonong seems perfect to the subject and the whole image is very satisfying. Fine work.
