Spot on.
I made a duplicate layer, set the opacity down around 60% and blurred it.
Then erased around the face and body before flattening.

You are right about either going further or backwards with "last man standing". Check out what David McClenaghan did with it! What do you reckon? I think its pretty cool!

Well, I love the colors, but to be honest I'm struggling a bit with the dotted pattern on his face and the headstock. IMHO you should go further or a little bit backwords.
The composition and crop is good. BUT his mimic makes the picture for me. That's awesome. Bravo! I would love to take pictures of you guys!!! Cheers! Carlheinz

I like this shot but.. Its very conventional.
Considering aperture and shutter speed tho its pretty good under the circumstances.
Not as raw as the drummer or the guy with the electrocuted hair :)
