Hi Rog dear! No,the picture is not leaning... ) It's the famous Tower of Pisa which is leaning dangerously. It's one of the most famous attractions in Italy.It was built sometimes during 1200 and since then it's been leaning more and more. Extra precautions are being taken in order to maintain it,although the fear of it falling down is always present.
It stands in a place called " Miracles' Square "...and it goes without saying that it's a true miracle!!!! Cheers! Antonella

Goodmorning Roger,you woke me up with a smile ! Indeed the tower is leaning,it's one of the most talked about and famous towers in the world beacuse of this peculiarity. It was built in 1173 and although it looks it may fall apart from a minute to another....it's still there!!

Very nice, Antonella, but you tilted the camera. The tower in the background looks as if it's leaning at quite an angle. Ahem.
Joking apart, the stone textures are beautifully rendered and the range of B&W tones is, though restricted, perfect for the subject. Great depth of field. Looks more like my 21mm than a 35mm lens at F/8.

Congratulations this is an unique shot of such a famous place, yet I cannot recall to have ever seen it from this perspective and foreground. The leaning is even emphasized by the angle of the statue in the foreground. And as usual with your work, the monochrome tones are excellent. Regards, Rob.

I?ve seen many photos of Pisa tower, but this one is really nice and interesting angle view, the adding of "Statua", shows both in vertical and amazingly as same height which is not, lovely B&W Historical monament, Complimenti,Saeed
