Looks wonderful! I like this composition, and so beautiful architecture! A lot of branches, but it suits in very well I think.
Ps. I agree with you about the grafitti in my windmill photo. But sometimes I think about that most grafitti (not on my windmill but other places) are made by badly raised children who actually seem to be talented and artistic. I think that somehow they should be encouriged to pain, but on places that is meant for that. All the tax money it cost to clean etc, why not put that money on making a place where they can paint? And then that could become kind of museum later? But perhaps I'm just naive now... ;-)

chris,
i like to follow roger here, if i understood him well. i had taken a few steps forward and just used the trees to frame the abbey. makes more sense and eliminates some "noise" and still leaves enough elements to point at the wonderful setting of this monument. picture postcards anybody? *.-)

If you could take a stereo pair of this scene those posts would just add a greater sense of depth and realism. It would also separate the greenery from the abbey hidden behind it. But again a really beautiful scenic, er, scene. [g]
