About I tried to do the opposite of Maggie - make it as easy as possible. Put the egg in a white bowl outdoors
waited for the sun to go
behind a high cloud and
then bracketed the exposure. Now time to
retry the earlier one.

WEll Chris...I like the very overly simple frame....the lighting is shapeind and wrapping the egg nicely .the bowl and the soft shadow in this works rather smoothly...the bricks have texture.....if the egg rolled unintentional or was placed it doesnt matter because it upsets a very miniimalistc image and works for me in this placement....I think yo did a very good job on this Chris its very clean and crisp......

Further to that you said "One of the things that is begining to be beat into my brain is that we have to get all (or most)of the details right for the details not to matter" EXACTLY.....

A person could work up a sweat at this, looking for all the numbers, buttons, lighting, and then the egg rolls off where you didn't want it to be. Gee....

Chris - so post it anyway. One of the things I enjoy
is looking at the details in the differences of various
executions. One of the things that is begining to be
beat into my brain is that we have to get all (or most)
of the details right for the details not to matter to
the viewer critic. I think that's good -- now if I can
just remember where the shutter button is while keeping
all this in mind....

Arg!...I took a very similar picture and just got it back yesterday. By the time I think I am original I see a post of it...lol...I will have to go extreme now to be original....Nice job.
