I like the original better. You shot a very lovely scene with the stream and fences curving into the distance. The original is very sharp with good lighting. Crop bottom of the original and would you have one that would please Norman Rockwell.

Hey,rebecca - thanks for comments on my pics...kinda do and kinda don't like the effect from PS, but love the comp and think you have a good eye for landscape...i used to paint,so it reminds me of a muted rendering,but my brain tells me it is a photo and crispness would be appropriate for the scene...ya know, i like cemeteries,too and always look for them in small,rural areas and of course,the older the better!...Gayle

Lovely composition and oil painting effects. The water and fence makes our eyes flow nicely through the scene. Nice work Rebecca.

Rebecca, this is a really nice and tranquil scene, and beautifully composed! I like the way the stream enters the frame off-center, then leads the eye up and around the bend - reinforced by the strong lines of the fences on either side. It may be the oil canvas effect causing this, but it looks just a tad flat. Beautiful nonetheless!
