About Luck played a big hand in this dramatic shot of one gull flying in to try and dislodge another from its perch!! I've done some basic adjustments to the levels and H&S, otherwise it's exactly as I took it.

Very intense capture.
Well rounded lighting and the expression given off by the rear gull is awesome.
Excellent detail and colors.
Best Regards
Lee
PS. you have a beautiful portfolio.

Hi Chris...thought I'd better look at this one so I could get a 'gull lesson' LOL LOL
Yep...these are REAL gulls (I've just learned that if you've seen one you haven't seen them all'! LOL...what can I say?

Anyway...This really IS a great photograph! And it for sure tells a story as to their behavior! Sometimes 'luck' does play a part! I also like the way your image here is presented. (I have not yet figured this out, I tried it on a photo I just posted; almost had a heart attack when I saw it!...oh well)

Good job on this image...
Lori :)

Astonishing shot! as good of its kind as any I have ever seen. Very well done. Luck may have had a hand in it, but you certainly made the best of it...
