Love the colors. And I have to agree that the horizontal one is better.

Might be my computer, but I would maybe brighten it up a bit..?

Yes, I prefer the horizontal shot. The pose looks more natural, and also more comfortable for the model. I also like the fact that the shadow on the unlit side of her face is not as deep as in the original upload, so it's a better representation of how I would see her in reality when concentrating on her face. The composition is well balanced; I was curious how the photo would look with a slight crop off the right, tried it, and came to the conclusion that the original framing works well as it is.

Pedro, A Brito, good to hear from you both again...thanks! Hopefully more to come in the next two weeks...

Matej, I love the sigma, very happy with it's quality. I'd highly recommend it..just make sure you get the 2.8 dedicated aperture, not a 3.5-5.6. Do you think this horizontal image is a better shot between the two?

James, I generally like your photos, but I'm afraid I find this one slightly weaker than some of the others. The reason lies in Karen's pose - her torso appears disproportionately small with regard to her head, and to some extent also the legs. I'm sure this can be dealt with easily.

How are you satisfied with this Sigma lens?
