Alex, I used in that pic: 1. sharp, sharp an sharp; 2.adjustmaent layer (all); gradients (golden); filters/stylize/difuse/ansotropic with fade; hue/saturation (unsaturation and hue a bit); "Nic colour efex pro/sunshine"(plugin) and "Digital gem" (plugin that reduce noise and give watercolour atmosphere). Software: Photoshop CS 8!

I have been to CA twice allready! Next time be sure you will not escape me! Thanks on your comments too Alex; I am sure you have much more to say as I do. I had a 20 years old camera Canon tbl since two month ago (my grandfathers); I bought new EOS 30 (elan 7) lately and including with being a part of UF I came back to life with my photograph thoughts again... Your comments are opening my eyes and this is just what I want!

This is a nice marco and composition. On the software I have been wanting to get the upgrade of CS but just don't have the money right now. I get the Exif in raw. On the other Canon Cameras I have it carred over to windows and the other software for some reason it won't convert for raw on the g5. I save all my images in raw and jpeg format. I use to save in tiff but it don't work well for reading of cds or dvds for the files are too large. Yes, when the weather breaks we could get together and go some where. I'm not a master at landscape just an amateur at very best. My e-mail addres is rgait65239@aol.com

Hi Alex; well i do not know if the first version was blured with PS efect or not... However I see, you made here even more neutral background, you eliminated leaves and you made a sharp focus! I do not want loose words about your perfect lightning, and acordning to my taste, I like this version more! Sharpness all the way, dark, smooth and undisturbing background really outprints the objects what makes the orchid powerfull and unique!
