Excellent close-up. You have very interesting portofolio (liked the Gov't worker bit, too... I'll probably end up working for Environment Canada one day... but that's OK, who says a hobby has to pay the bills?)

Is that still blood that i see on his/her beak???
For a head shot i would've cropped i much tighter. Otherwise i would have tried to get the whole eagle in the frame. But none the less... is still a great shot. I guess when you get to see one of them you don't have to much time thinking of how you wanna compose the shot.
