Hi, Kristupa... Let me be harsh a bit with you... I know you can take it, so let's go...:-) I don't think this is good - at all. I have seen great pictures from you, but here, I feel you have all your demons meeting in the same frame... What are they ?
1) The face is redish at the sides - might be the jpeg, not the original. (No big deal, easily adjusted...)
2) Her expression. Man, she looks so shy, that I'm almost sure this was her 1st photo session. She looks almost scared. What did you do to scare her so much ? :-))
3) The pose, and mostly the arm... What kind of pose is this !? Her body falls to the left and look at the curve of her back... Certainly not what you would call nice... And this arm, what is it doing there ? It is posing - no doubt. Nobody in this world would be in this position, ever, except for a photographer - especially with this expression...
I have noticed a while ago that you often go for what I would call "strange" or "unnatural" poses... And I have noticed that quite a few photographers do in Asia, in fact. It's like an asian cultural thing, I think. So maybe it's just me, but at the same time, I feel this is just not right. Even if you look on the net at the portfolios of top Asian photographers involved in fashion and glamour, you won't find much of that sort of thing.
Feel free to set me straight if you think I'm wrong, but I think you should at least just give it some thoughts... Let me know. Cheers - and don't be mad, ok...? :-)
this is a lovely image Kristupa - sharp, bright, well captured. I noticed on the most recent uploads, someone is really messing with the ratings - obviously ignore the rating on this one!!!
