The one on the right looks so intimidating! :-)

Great shot!

Oh, I won't drop it - and I have a bunch of these - some with them both with their heads out - it was a difficult shot - low light - slow film and a tiny DOF

As much as I like the fact that this is taken outside in nature, and animals being difficult to capture artistically in nature... I do wish that one in back was facing forward. You were fortunate to stumble across these as they hide so well. I've seen owls but 200mm isn't good enough to capture them up close and personal.

I personally wouldn't crop the image any more... I like that they are framed it shows them better in there habitat.

Great light and nice framing. It can be tricky in this situation to hold shadow detail, so this shows it pays to wait for the right light. Fortunately, owls will often stay in the same place for a long time during the day, so you have a chance for a good shot.

Beautifully composed, the detail could be a bit sharper. The Owls blend in so well with this tree. Very good lighting. Nice catch.

Talk about camoflage - their feathers blend right in. I love the detail and the composition and the dof - but their eyes really make this special! Nicely done!

Wonderful light. Composition feels bottom heavy. Maybe a small top crop? Dunno. Nice though.
