hola Tom! wegener was a german climatologist who was alive in the early 1900s. he is the guy who first came up with the theory of continental drift and plate tectonics...and of Pangaea. anyways, this shot reminds me of two giant slabs of earth sliding past each other. he was WAY ahead of his time...
tm, 500+ views and only 2 comments? interesting. i must admit, i'm partially at fault as well. i have actually viewed this one several times but it is so good that i really didn't know what to say. i presume this was also the case with the other 500+ folks who opened it. i'm not sure who alfred wegener is (enlighten me, please) but i'm extremely impressed. it has an ethereal quality that speaks to my innards. great idea and very well executed!
