On Oct 11 I submitted this picture. Back then, I was new to this and I did not have Paint Shop. I did a little cropping, enhanced the colors and now resubmitting. I now realize that that day was very sunny and with the shadows, it made the shot tricky. No light meter used (I don't have one) but with help of Paint Shop, how does it look now?? Also, in error, I said I used a Pentax MZ-50 camera. NOT! the espio 928 is a smaller camera with a byuilt in zoom.... 28 - 90mm.
Les, I definitely prefer the colors and sharpness in this version, although you've lost a lot of the detail in the shadows. As you pointed out, this was a difficult lighting situation, and an ND grad might have helped here - I'm still struggling with the use of that filter myself, but the times I have, it's made an amazing difference.
