Paul: I think I am very close to achieving the perfect studio lighting situation.

2 36x24 softboxes on each corner of the 9' background and 1 32" umbrella illuminating the white background providing the almost 100% whitness I wanted. The color balance is 90% there. I can't really ask too much more from my Canon 10D... It does an amazing job at color accuracy with a silky smooth sharpness... The rest can be fine-tuned in Photoshop.
