Gorgeous scene of mother with foal. Beautiful captured Jeffrey. The horses are a bit to much centered in the frame though. Light is wonderful and exposure great, but there is a bit of a blue color cast in the photo wich also needs a little more sharpness. With this comment I also will add your image a little PhotoShopped by me so you can see what I mean with the color cast and the sharpness....Best regards Harry
There is a lot of clutter here that distracts the viewer from the subject.I wish you had gone further and thought about how you could make this a real photograph rather than just a record of a foal with its mother. It's a case of selecting and placing the elements of the scene in such a way that encapsulates what makes an image of a foal and its mother so attractive. Getting a bit closer to the subjects and choosing a different viewpoint, waiting for a moment of intimacy betwwen the creatures, such as suckling, nuzzling, evidence of bonding, for example. There's no hint of any of these things here - it is such a bland record of the scene. Sorry to go on, but it's a subject that raises certain expectations in the viewer.
