Hi Spencer,
This is my first visit to your portfolio. I do like your black&whites. This one is of one of my favorite subjects (abandoned houses/buildings) but I haven't been out taking any photos of them. I like the wood rail fence in this one. Good job.

I am always saddened and intrigued by houses that have lost their people. I wonder what happened to make them leave to make them abandon their 'places" however fancy or plain. This capture brings all of that to me, and reinforces the saddenss. From the scallopped edges of the screen dppr to the fence that strives to protect it, to the shadow-play along the siding... this is beautifully done. I am especially aware of, and appreciative of, the tall weeds that have grown up and create an random pattern across the image which you have captured so well.
