Nice difference from you Gregory! The cropping and the lighting is very good. I like the lighting scale that makes the metalic textures effaced at the bottom!

As with some of the others, I like the "gallery" illusion you create with the black bands -- as if this is a photo of a multipaneled abstract painting.
If you look across the Sound from Bayville (like about where the old Rhinegold's resturant used to be on the beach) I'm almost directly behind the largest (Great Captain's) island you see lying off the CT shore in Greenwich. Pink house a couple of doors down from IHYC. There once was a time when I used to toss my board and rig over the wall and windsurf to Bayville and back -- sometimes twice -- in an afternoon. These days I consider it something of an achievement just to kayak around the harbor. --jim
