I think this photo would have worked better with the girl turned towards the waters. Also the sky is rather washed out so is the water towards the horizon.

Regarding sharpness, who says photos have to be sharp anyway!?

I think that it needs to be sharpened slightly and that it needs to be cropped a bit. There seems to be too much to the bottom and to the left. Other than that it looks good to me.
