Very emotionally pulling. Being a dog lover, I really like the shot. Great PS work! I too would love to see the original pic. Scamp reminds me of my two little rescued mutts.

Carol; really nice take-- that eye is incredible, and the look and shagginess remind me of our last dog Pepper. I think your PS work is very good, but this is one I'd also like to see in the "natural" state-- but that's just my curiosity-- and probably because I don't have those kind of PS skills. Very nice. Cheers. Craig

Very painterly and beautiful. I will be honest, you probably have not gotten more response out of this because the thumbnail really does NOT do it justice. Excellent effects, really. I almost did not view this myself. Looks remarkable better larger. Very nice portrait and even nicer story. I would be interested in knowing what you did in PS to create this painterly look.
Regards,
Karen

Carol, excellent use of PS to create a painting of sweetie Scamp. I too will give him a pretend kiss like Sandy.;) Love that all seeing eye!

Very nice portrait, Carol. Filtering works fine here, indeed creates feeling of a real painting. However, he looks sad, probably life is not so easy for him.
