Walking around a sunday market in Segovia a found this basket shop. I wanted to make a pleasant abstract photograph but the market was so crowded it was really complicated to shot. Finally I did it, and I got a beautiful B+W shot... but then I realized I wanted to show how difficult was to just freeze the eyes and the camera to a point and shot while all people was passing by me, moving, pushing... This is my interpretation of the original shot... some selective radial blurring and new lighting for purple and blue tones....
Actually I think it would have been interesting to have someone walk into this shot. The baskets are very nice, but the presence of a person would give the picture some of that busy market atmosphere. Having said that, the blurring treatment that you've done with this photo is also very interesting. I'd also like to see the B&W version.
