Those palm trees behind the building add to the overall look of the photo. And it does look as if you were walking up the curve, and then stopped to take this pic, so there is a slight elevated angle :-)
But the pic looks a bit crumpled as if it was scanned and not taken digitally. Maybe the scanner wasnt too hot, eh? Or perhaps this crumbled effect was intentionally added using some Photo manipulation tool.
Anyway, nice pic.
