I followed Jamie's suggestions (I think he means "duplicate" layer in the first step) and it does make a bit of a difference. Which one you prefer is probably a matter of taste. Anyway, it's a very pleasing image which appears to have quite some thought behind it in getting it right. Light, composition etc are nicely balanced.

Beautiful as always Kaj, an exquisite reflection, too sharp for my liking, the haloing is rather visible. Try this if you use PS.. new layer, filter > high pass at 10% of your dpi, filter > gaussian blur 3 times your value for high pass, fade gaussian blur set between 65-85% with mode set to darken, set layer mode to overlay and adjust opacity to suit (usually 65-85% again I find).
