Tamara, I find this a very interesting experiment in abstraction. Last year I had the good fortune to see and artist here in the Boston area at the DeCordova musuem whose work was abstracted forms encased in ice. Her name is Judy Haberl, and I think you would find her work very intriguing. You didn't list any camera information, but she was using a large format polaroid which yielded photos that were as large as ten feet across. It was pretty amazing to see.
In any case, I love the almost celluar forms of this photo. I hope this something you are going to continute to pursue.
