Je trouve votre photo et son traitement impressionniste très beau. Cela vient chercher beaucoup le peintre en moi. J'aurais souvent envie de faire comme vous mais je me retiens de peur de ne pas être comprise. J'ai quelques photos où j'ai essayé différentes impressions ayant un cachet peinture mais elles ne sont pas bien reçues dans mon entourage. Alors ça m'aide de voir que vous "osez". Thanks for commenting on this experimental piece. It does have a painting feel to it. I've printed it in a 9x6 in. format and the textural details are fascinating (to me at least).

Christian, I really like this. It looks like something that you could hang on the wall and not get tired of. The original is very nice but this just makes this a much better picture. Great work and thanks for the explanation. Don.

Hi Christian,
It took me some time to get used to this picture. I looked and I looked. At first I had the impression of "unsharpness" but then I liked the soft editing with gaussian blur. Looks a bit like a painting/drawing to me. Anyway... I like it a lot. Well done. My best regards,
