Thanks for the comments, I was trying to demonstrate the use of DOF here and I did use a polarizing filter.

Mark,

Wonderful view here! the colors are good witht he color in the sky being the best. Did you yse any filters? I think the foreground it a little dark and could be helped a bit by a ND filer to darking the sky and then meter the other area.

Very nice! I think it would be stronger if you crop a little more of the bottom rocks out. That "v" shape in the rocks will work better.
pretty landscape! I like the color of the sky and the clouds.
