I like this bf very much, a tighter crop would improve it a little I think, the detail is there so if you have some time, read through the forums on here there is one in the digital darkroom regarding relieving shadows, it would help you with this image, best regards - Richard.

I too feel that you have lost some detail in the butterfly.I bet you have detail in the slide and need to work on the scan some in PS. Your background is excellent and composition is fine. Don.

The colors are very pretty! Good catch! Anyone who has ever tried shooting these little guys knows how much patience it takes to get a decent shot. This is very nice. Love the blurred background to set off the beauty/detail of the butterfly and bloom. Nice composition, too! Hope to see more soon.
