I really like this picture, I agree, the color changes something we sometimes see as ordinary to something extrordinary.....I would have liked to see a bit more light towards the bottom?Just my humble opinion...but a wonderful photo!

I like the color. It make an otherwise ordinary scene that has been photographed countless times in the past stand out and command attention. Did you use a filter to get this effect or is it a naturally occuring atmospheric phenomena in you part of the world? I suppose there are some types of atmospheric pollutants that could cause something like this.
