I agree that the lack of expression detracts from the impact. On the other hand, the photo evokes an emotional response in me. She looks like she's watching TV or some other mild diversion. It's somewhat frightening to think of pointing a gun (pea shooter, even) at another human while not even looking at the threatened party. Empty gun? Hope so.

Nice angle, and good choice of the wide angle lens and the infrared film. The only thing I find disconcerting is her blank expression. For a domestic violence situation I don't see a mix of intense fear and anger. Your subject needs to sell the image.

It's a cool concept Quinn, but I kinda agree with Yvon...if I was an intemperant spouse, a .25 Automatic would not slow me down much...in other words...it looks like she's trying to defend herself with a pee-shooter. However, this may not be obvious to people who aren't gun nuts... ;)

The shoot is great but for more impact use de big .12 riot shotgun the result is more dramatic :-)...
