Jeanne, you're right. That fact that this is considered "acceptable" photography by some really makes me wonder about some people. I'm not proud that we don't strive for more.

Holy, Lowell -- somebody's sure out to tell you what a photograph is "supposed to be"
Some days I am not especially proud of this race I belong to.
This, to me, seems like heaven -- heavenly colors and a very soft warm light to it. The rising light is also lovely.

Lowell, I've seen your work and much of it is excellent. This, I'm sorry to say, just makes me think "What the Hell???"
I've accidentally shot photos of my fingers out of focus that look remarkably like this... But that in NO way makes them good photos...
I see you have this under personal style, but that's no excuse.

It's an out of focus blob. There is no center of interest. The colours are pleasant, but it's just that...blob of colour.
