Angelic - absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed this photo. I have only one suggestion...the large shadow that descends from the upper left border of the photo pulled my vision away from the subtle translucent wing...I keep womdering how I might respond to this shot if you softened or removed this shadow???

I'm very partial to nature photography and this is by far one of the best I've seen. A good photograph (IMHO)is not about technical proficiency but about communication...this is such a soft and tranquil image. Makes me want to grab a book and find a quiet corner of the world....very nicely done.
BTW..thanks for your comments on my refugee portrait. I'll be posting more after the first of the year. Right now I'm not willing to trust my film to the local labs. I'll be posting like a madman once I get back to the States, though!
