I've never worked in a darkroom. Because I took mostly slides, it was easier to take them to a lab. After my late husband retire in 2000, he got the computer and two very simple programs which I've used interchangeable for my digital manipulation and creation. The two programs are Microsoft Picture It 2000, and MGI Photosuite III. Wish I had learned Photoshop from the beginning, but did not, and I do know Picture It very well.:)

Congrats on your well deserved award my friend.
I wanted to ask if you have done a lot of work in
a traditional darkroom as I know you have shot a lot
of film in the past. Asking cause Im really thinking
hard on getting into printing and enlarging some black and white prints.
