I think that the amount of negative space really adds to this image... it sets it apart from all the full frame lightning shots out there. The rich blue sky and the storminess that the black gives the image is great. Nice balance between darkness and light!
think about it, most of the image area is black with no detail, ok you caught some lightning, but the rest doesn't work, what are the tiny highlights, sorry to disagree, you didn't nail it, try again
GREAT SHOT!!!!! i dont know what this guy is talking about, apparently not a fan of giant streaks of electricity between the ground and the sky. you nailed this shot.. BIG HIT!!! Keep postin' more of the LIGHTNING shots you love so much. ;)
Shawn I had tough to photograph no definite idea what this is a picture of. Ah just read lightning!! tough tp photograph. Like here it can appear any where. Good effort but not a hit.
