Here are those beautiful gold tones again. Shooting digital inside under different types of light sources usually produce images that are 1) grainy, and 2) colored with unsuspected tones, often gold, pink or green. You might have been able to get a different effect if your camera has a white balance setting. All that having been said, I think the grain and the gold cast have worked to your advantage here to create a very effective, graphic. I like the use of the diagonal light area leading your eye through the photo and especially like the subtle shadow to the right of the staircase. This is a very soothing image to look at and I really like your choice of composition and cropping.
