Very nice composition, you choosed the house and tree position very well in the image and you captured a fantastic moment of light; in my opinion the problem is not the softness, but the lack of a greater contrast which would have more highlighted the light zone, it would have a bit hidden the wood and it would have increased the mood of the photo. In any case I think that this is an impressive shot :) Bye Max
