About The other night I decided to try photographing the lightning thru the car windshield, so woke my poor sleeping husband to drive to a good location. He is SO patient. Anyway, by the time we got there, the storm was moving on and it was raining, but I still got a few shots. We'll know better what works next time. Handheld, set manually for 10 seconds at f8. Figured the lightning would work the same as flash,...I was right.
