Echte flower power!

De chrysant komt oorspronkelijk uit China en Japan. Daar was men al snel overtuigd van de geneeskundige kracht van deze bloeier. In de Chinese geneeskunde worden dan ook diverse ontgiftende soorten, zoals Chrysanthemum morifolium, al eeuwen medicinaal gebruikt.Bijvoorbeeld tegen hoofdpijn, duizeligheid, rode ogen, hart- en vaatziekten en hoog cholesterol.Heb je een griepje? Van de bloemen van de Indische chrysant zet men in heel Zuidoost-Azië een heerlijk zoete thee;deze zou helpen om sneller te herstellen na de griep.Inmiddels buigt de wetenschap zich ook over de bijzondere eigenschappen van de chrysant.En de eerste resultaten zijn veelbelovend.Dat is pas flower power Harry!!
