Impressive portrait, I find the contrast a bit to strong.

My initial thought is that she is a detached head. It may be from the vast light difference between the face and her clothes. I would like to see the clothes brighter and the face darker. Additionally, consider Rembrandt lighting. I like her Mona Lisa smile.

This is really a great dramatisation through the lens. The dark background with lighted face is appropriate. Exposure is appropriate. Altogether a very good portrait.
